Answer Hello Paula, The baffle is has one screw in it on the outer part of inner tub. You could try to get it out by removing drain from the bottom of the tub and seeing if you can get to the screw without having to pull tub apart, but tub will have to be removed.

Answer Hello Hortencia. You will need to make sure you dont wash any of the rubber backed rugs or tennis shoes without putting them in a garment bag first. Also, over loading the washer will cause the baffle 8540456 to fail in the unit. Hope this helps.
