One of the baffles just busted on my washer. Is there a difference between the W10283356 baffles and the ones that you can buy 3 in a kit? It seems that the baffles that come in a kit also come with the locking screw. It would seem that the baffles locked in with a screw would be more secure.

I have replaced the baffle in the washer and again it broke off. the clips are not worn but seem to shear off. the drum seems not to be bent in the clip areas...what can i do not to have to replace this piece yearly.

I already replaced a baffle once, and it lasted only 2 weeks. I know it's the same one I replaced because I marked it. The little plastic clips seem woefully inadequate. Isn't there some way to reinforce these baffles from inside the drum?
