Hi, My hidden element is broken (litterally broken in 2 parts) and needs to be replaced. I had a technician to come in and he replaced it with another element but he said that there was not enough power going through so that the new element was not heating enough. He said that the broken element might have "burned" my control board and it needed to be replaced along with the element and that it was too expensive for the value of the stove (12 years). My question is how can I verify with a multimeter if the correct voltage going to the element is or not because I still have doubts on what the technician said. Thank you

My oven does not heat to temperature. It says it preheats to 350, but when I put in a thermometer it reads 200. When I put the preheat up to 500, it heats to 350. From what I've read, it seems the bake element may need to be replaced - is that correct? If so, I believe the element in this model is hidden on the bottom - how do I access it and change the element? Thank you.
