Sometimes my baking element turns red when turned on and reaches temperature; sometimes it does not turn red and does not get to temp (although it does heat up some). Should I replace the baking element? The broil element works fine. Thanks,

When I turn on the stove, the top element heats up and the lower does not. Does this simply mean the lower element needs to be replaced? Thank you.

When I turn the oven on to bake, the broiler only turns on...burning my food. If this sounds like the bake element is out, then I think I can do this repair myself. I'd like your opinion before I order the element... Thanks!
