I got error code 51, looked it up on the net and all led me to think I have a sock or other item under tub. Took apart the washer and removed tub, all I found was a quarter. While cleaning the tub I noticed that there was water inside the lower plastic part of tub.
Could this be the problem, put it back together and still gives error code 51. I tried to drain and spin the load and kept going on ul code. Please help if you can. Thanks
Answer Robert, If there is water in the bottom white plastic assembly, then Yes, that could be the cause of both the error codes. The top white plastic assembly is filled with a saline solution to balance the tub, but the bottom is hollow so the tub will "float" once the washer has filled. If you're sure there's water in the bottom assembly, you will need to replace the tub W10296143. The F 51 error code flashes when there is a motor rotor position sensor failure W10178988or lower harness problem. If the tub doesn't disengage (float) or doesn't engage the drive hub properly, it can cause a "drag" and the RPS sensor can produce the F 51 code.
Make a lot of noise in the spin cycle . Then it show off balance (O.B)
Answer Hello. If the noise is like a bad bearing, You need to order part numbers W10435302 and W10447783 to repair the unit.
