My Repair & Advice
Installed new replacement parts. Disassembly of washer went smoothly (less than an hour with on-line video instructions) until I had to remove the original bearings. As I didn't have a bearing puller, this took the remainder of the day, and included two trips to Home Depot to kludge a puller from bolts/washers, and a lot of banging with a drift! (That was NOT fun!). Couple hours more to reassemble/clean up. Word of advice...Get a proper puller! Job might have taken 4-5 hours total with the right tools. I killed the entire day!
Washer runs like new, though door seal leaked first time I ran it. Have to follow up on that today. But at least my laundry room no longer sounds like the end of the runway at Logan Airport during the spin cycle!
