I need to replace the bevel gear hub on my mixer, but I can't see how to get the old one out. Do I need to replace the transmission housing as well to put in a new one?

Answer Meredith, You don't have to replace the transmission housing, but you do have to dismount it to access and replace the gear, and you will need to re grease the gearcase. If you're careful you'll be fine. Good Luck and Thanks
