How do you replace a broken fan in the freezer compartment? I have the cover off, exposing fan with broken blades. Is it held in place by a screw in the center of the fan?

Answer Hello,
The old fan blade will just pull off of the fan motor shaft. The new fan blade just presses onto the fan motor shaft. Be careful as it is very easy to get cut when doing this. Wear gloves if you have them.
