I can push the button to get ice fine. If I push the button for water, it will jump back to ice. If I hold the button, water will come out fine. Thanks

The buttons that you push on part Ap4080357 the one for crushed has pushed through and there is a nickel size plastic circle that fell out. We need to replace that and fix the water side as you have to push it just right to get water. Can you tell me if this part is what we need and is there installation instructions on the part when we order it. If this is not the correct part can you tell me what part to use and how to get installation instructions.

Water is not dispensing although it dispenses cubed ice just fine. None of the dispenser lights work, but it seems to be stuck in cube dispensing mode, when the switch is pressed, it activates the agitator inside the icemaker as if it is trying to dispense ice. No water comes out but ice cubes accumulate in the chute because, as expected, the chute door is closed in water dispensing mode.

Thanks for the previous answer. I wanted to make sure that water was getting to the water inlet valve on my Maytag Fridge. How do I get the plastic hose off the top of the water inlet valve? Where it's connected I see a little blue round thing on top of a little black round thing? Is there a trick to getting this off without putting a whole in the plastic hose? At first I thought that I could just pull the hose off, but that doesn't seem to be a good idea, so I stopped.

Maytag Fridge. I accidently knocked off the far left capacitor on the control board (Part Number: AP4080117). Is there a simple fix or do I need to order a new control board? By the way, I was trying to figure out why my water stopped working and the ice cubes are small. I now see that it may be the water inlet valve. ugh.

Does the control board control the ice maker to control the water. My ice maker will drop ice if I manually pour water in machine. water valve and ice maker are good.
