Answer Gillihan, Yes replacing the control board will help. It will also give you the opportunity to check the timer for power out to the cold water fill valve when it's time to activate the softner dispenser fill, I'm pretty sure you'll find a loose connection since there are no resistance checks for the main control board circuits. Answer Hello Connie. The control board part number is 22002988, and the door lock wax motor number is 22002119. Check the switches on the door lock assembly before ordering these parts, and make sure they are good. If the switches are bad, it can cause the door lock not to work properly as well, and the board could be ok. If R-11 is burnt out on the control board, you will have to replace the board and wax motor. Hope this helps.
