Circut board issue. The fridge stopped dispensing water correctly - it seemed confused between the ice cube output and water output. A local technician reported the issue as a circut board and "he had never seen that before". Anyway my question is, Can the board be easily slotted out and a new one slotted in? Looks simple from the diagram and previous answers. Also does the technicians' deduction seem reasonable - it does to me but I work in an office.

Answer Hello Tony, Yest the control board is easily removed and installed. Based on the information it would appear that the control board would be the problem.

Is sparepart AP 4078950 equivalent to part 67003623 both for European models 230V? Have you got an instruction sheet, so I can see if I can replace it myself?

Answer Hello Bente. Yes, based on the part number you provided, 67003623 is the same part. To install the part, you will remove the drip tray from the dispenser. Then remove the screws uncer the tray. Pull out the dispenser housing with the power disconnected. You can now access and replace the control board. Hope this helps.

Part No: 67005013 is the part used on GC2224GEKB Fridges sold for 230vac operation. I have just bought one from Whirlpool in UK. You tell me that part no: 67003626, also known as AP4078950, replaces 67005013 but is a 120vac part. How can this be? Unless the part works on 120vac and 230vac. Can you check this please? Is it possible that one part number covers 2 parts, each the same but for their working voltage? Could it be you have it wrong & your part number is not correct? Your part is half the UK part cost!

Answer Hello Christopher! I do apologize for the confusion , it does seem the board 67003623 and the valve 67005118 are rated at 230v. Typically, most refrigerator parts are rated at 120v.
