Every morning my son tosses in bottled water in the ice cube tray (which is always full)and some plastic pieces broke and went into my ice when I turned the ice dispenser on. Something broke and I think it was from the force of the ice bumping into something in the ice bucket. What part could it be? Thanks! Kathy

Answer Hi Kathy. I,m not quite sure that your son does this because you need the tray to fill. The water valve brings water on command of the ice maker. The water valve is part # W10408179. It is recommended that your ice maker be changed to insure proper operation since I cannot identify the exact part you need. This part # is 4317943. Thank you.
