When I use the broiler, it gets up to temp. Then it has VERY Little gas explosions. Like it goes puff and there is a flash of fire the bake cycle works fine as does the top burners please advise, thanks.
You will want to pull the burner of the unit out and check to make sure that the ports do not have rust on them and make sure that they are not clogged. If the burner checks ok then the most likely cause would be a faulty oven safety valve.
Is there any special steps nececcary to replace broiler burner? I viewed the video and understand how to change out the igniter , but also need to replace the broiler burner. Just trying to simplify the task. Thanks for your quick response
Answer Carl, No, there are no special tools required, but you will need to remove the range from the cabinet, so you can access the back and side of the range. Make sure you turn the power and gas supply OFF before you start. We'll send you some information, that should help you out.
