At the start of the cycle the igniter glows and the gas ignites. The gas shuts off after the temp is reached. After a few minutes the igniter glows again, but the gas does not ignite and the igniter turns off. There is a very rapid clicking noise when this cycle occurs. The process of igniter glowing and gas never coming on continues with the noise each time the igniter comes on. I have replaced the gas valve coiles with no change. I did have to replace the thermal fuse about 6 months ago. Any idea what I need to do?

For Whirlpool Duet gas dryer with bad gas valve you recommend a part that avoids the cost of the whole burner assembly. That part is no longer available according to your website. Is the entire assembly my only recourse now?

I have a Whirpool Duet dryer running on LP that throws an orange flame and the cuts off the flame after about 3 seconds, it repeats this process every 15 or so seconds but won't stay on. The flame looks too big and I think it should be a blue flame? Not sure what parts I need to purchase to repair. Thanks.

Odor of gas at vent outlet. Gas company says it is" uncombustible gas" Service tech says flame is too small and it needs new burner for $200.00 plus labor. I vacumed the inside of dryer and tapped the valve with head of screwdriver.....I see blue flame that fills the 'tube' Could it have been a sticky valve? What do you think???

I am switching from propane to natural gas. I know they have kits for this but I would rather install a new natural gas regulator valve. Can you tell me if you have one, how much $ and how long would it take to get me one? Thanks.

I bought a used Whirlpool Duet gas dryer. We smelled gas and the the gas company said that it was gas valve on the dryer leaking. How can I save money by just replacing the valve without the whole burner assembly?
