The left front burner for a kitchen Aid Superba range KGSC308LSO receives gas but the flame is very low as compared to the other burners. I am guessing it needs a cleaning, are there instructions for cleaning the burner or could it be a different cause of the problem of low gas flame.

Answer Jim, Once you remove power to the range, you'll want to remove the burner cap 3191898 and check the burner base and orifice 4455849,9753929 for debris and traces of a "spill over" you may want to carefully remove the orifice and check the opening and the back side, as well. With power off to the range, you can open the burner valve for a second or so, to "blow out" any debris, that may have accumulated in the tubing, burner or valve. After the cleaning process, if the problem persists you'll need to replace the gas burner valve 9755405, there would have to be an internal clog, or valve body failure.
How do you replace the sealed burners for the stove top part # ap3174626
Dennis for Model Number sf362lxsb
Answer Dennis, Once you unplug the power cord and turn off the gas supply. After you remove the burner grates and caps. You'll need to unscrew the two phillips head screws in the burner base (12 and 6 0'clock positions in the parts diagram) and lift the burner base 1 or 2 inches off the cooktop, Disconnect the igniter wire and label it(you may want to label the caps and burners as well). Once all the burner bases are removed, you can then raise the lid from the front and remove it.
