Facing stove Burner Head on the right rear (small unit), when turning control knob down to low flame position it extinguishes the flame. All other Burners stay on low flame when turned down. Thank you for your help
Answer Hello John,
You may need to adjust that burner valve or it could be as simple as cleaning the burner with a solution of hot water and white vinegar and an old toothbrush. If there is nothing obviously in the burner and you can shine a flashlight into the burner orifice and there is nothing in there, you can adjust the burner by starting the burner and pull the knob off. Reach into the hollow valve stem with a long small flat blade screwdriver. Be aware that you will have to hold the valve stem while adjusting the setting screw. Set the flame higher than it was then turn the setting to the low setting and adjust it so a "puff" of air will not blow it out. This is so if a door is opened or closed it will not blow out the flame.
