Buzzer does not stop after drying cycle. I have to keep the door open to stop the buzzer OR else start a new drying cycle, or else unplug the dryer. i just bought a new timer from you, and replaced the whole timer, however, this did not solve my problem. Could I have a short in my buzzer?

Clothes dry, but no buzzer. I'm a decent "handyman" can I replace this myself? Am I correct that I need AP4042410?

Buzzer stays on. Turning knob stops buzzer. Dryer starts drying.

Latest Questions

At the end of a drying cycle, the buzzer goes off but does not stop. The only way to stop the buzzer is to either keep the door open or unplug the dryer. My guess is that I could pull off the back of the control unit (4 screws) and replace the buzzer (Part AP402410). Is this correct and is the repair simple for me to do?
