Ser # C30236892. Note: trouble on WARM/HOT water temp only. Trouble clears on COLD setting. Trouble: after water level is reached, agitation starts, but water is still entering the tub. It stays on, even when it reaches the top and overflows. My temporary remedy is to turn off supply valves, then turn them back on to same pressure. They will remain off until the cycle calls for water again. Same trouble with rinse and spin. Supply is manually turned on and off during the spray rinse cycle while tub is spinning. Otherwise the load is too damp at close of cycle. QUESTION: which part(s) are faulty in this scenario? Thanks.

Answer Char, The water valve would be the cause of the unit not stopping the filling of water. You will want to check to make sure that the screens are not clogged. If the screens on the water valve are clogged clean and check to see if problem persists. If problem does persist then you would need to replace the water valve 358277.

Answer Hello Debra, The spin cam bar is in the spin positon when the right bar is all the way to the front and the left bar is to the rear.

I have an 1986 whirpool belt drive washing machine. It doesn't spin. The bars at the wig wag selnoid move back & forth during spin cycle and agitate cycle. but no spin. All else is ok. brake & clutch don't seem to be doing anything when spin cycle starts. I just hear motor and a swiching sound,like the tube is moving water back and forth but tube doesn't move. Could it be bad clutch, bad wig wag selinoid, bad lid switch? Belt is ok. Transmission? Hope not! Please help. I downloaded the parts list from your web site. Carl

If the spin cam bar part # 350532, has a broken pin (included in kit) and not engaging the plunger part # is 350384,or the clutch shaft part # is 285068(not available), then the clutch will not engage to shift the transmission part # is 362901 which is no longer available also.
