The auger will not turn and ice cannot be despensed. What would be not functioning properly?
Answer Darrell, It's not quite that easy. It could be an issue in the auger motor itself 12002089 or the dispenser control board 67003622. You may want to access the auger motor and check for 120 VAC from white to orange and white to blue on the motor when the cubed ice and crushed ice selection is made, and the dispenser paddle pressed, no voltage would indicate a bad dispenser control board or loose wire. voltage on the wires would indicate a faulty auger motor.
Does the agitator bar end fit into the hole or does it just lay in the open ridge. Does anyone know?
Answer Hi Karen. The 2-3/4 round end (smaller) fits into the ice bin. The large round end (3-3/4") with the 2 flat inside tangs are for the outside of the bin. Helix tap part # D7749401. Thank You.
