Machine mechanics stopped working in the rinse cycle; electronics seems to be working (all lights on, etc,) there is about a 4 second blink cycle and sound of a relay closing inside the right side of the door. what should I look for to get things back in order?
Answer John, Remove the inner door liner, and the control board cover from the control panel, check for any visible damage or loose. broken. wires or connections. You didn't mention what portion of the rinse cycle it stopped at, (start, middle end) If the dishwasher didn't fill for the rinse, you'll need to check to see if the fill valve failed, the float is stuck. If in the middl of the cycle, there could be a stall if the heated rinse option is selected but the wash motor should run, and at the end of the cycle, did it drain. It still sounds like a faulty control board, and you may want to start there. Thanks
Unscrew sounds easy but can't do it by hand. Is there a special tool required? Possibly calcified in place.
Answer Hello Mike. You can use a large pair of channel lock pliers to remove the cap 99001428, but be careful not to mess the cap up or break it. Hope this helps.
I just bought this part from you. How do I install it? How do I get the old one off as it is broken into pieces?
Answer Hi John. There are inner threads on this part. Examine them and this is the exact type of parts you will remove from the older inner wash arm area. You will need to remove the old wash arm and put this new part in the middle and then install it on the cleaned off threads on the rinse arm assembly part # is 99002043. Thank you.
