Will part number AP4009576 help the door close by it's self?
Answer Hi Bill. You are asking about the lower door hinge operation. On your doors there is a door female insert part called a hinge bearing part # 67004977. It is a replaceable part if broken. There is a door hinge pin that it is positioned on. The center hinge pin is part # 67006744 the bottom hinge pin is part # 67007018. The hex end will inset into the hole of the lower bottom door hinge part # 10585508. There is a center lower hinge is part # 12446513. Its shim gasket is part # 10447906 and part # 10447905 that go between the outer cabinet and the door hinge.Use the plastic thick waqshers part # M0274058 and part # M0274057. They go in between the hinge pin and bottom of the door that may be stacked to squarely stack the door shut. Use Sil-Glide lubricant part # TJ17-132 on all upper and lower pivot point and the door will shut easier. Use a torpedo level on top of the unit and see if it is level front to back and side to side after parts correction to make sure there are not future issues. With the inner door shelves packed full of food, it will allow the door to sag slightly along with a bad un leveled unit. Thank You.
