The control knob won't activate at least 50% of the positions. I will ask for one procedure but it gives another. usually allows 35 minutes for washing. Also the spin cycle doesn't wring out as much water as it should. I don't know if this is because the settings won't work properly.

The washer has given error codes DL and F11 repeatedly for 6 months. The service technician started by repalcing the drain pump assembly since it had some wear and tear on it. Washer worked OK for a short time and then the DL code appeared. The door lock switch was replaced and washer worked OK for short time. I think the tech said the next step would be the CCU. The washer now doesn't complete most cycles. Error codes are DL and F11. I have to unplug to reset just to get the door open since it fails with the door locked. Pushing cancel and then the start buttons do not work. You can hear the clicking noise of the washer trying to reset before I woulkd unplug. Do I try the CCU? Can I do it myself? HELP!!!

Latest Questions

When the washer is plugged in, the front control panel remains dark with no lights. There is a continuous click at the main control board. I am wondering if this continuous click is normal or is it an indication of the ccu malfunctioning or is the front panel at fault? Your thoughts. Thank you

I have installed the new CCU and it turns on and lights up fine, but does not go into a washer cycle. Is there something I need to do to reset the CCU prior to use? Thank you!

My washer has been throwing the F11 code off and on for several months now. I ordered a replacement CCU (part number 8182697), popped it into the washer, and attempted to run a load. This time, no F11 code, but I did get an FH code. Referring to the guide, I re-checked water flow and valves, which were also not a problem when the previous board was in. Also of note, I do not seem to be able to put the washer into diagnostic mode. When I follow the steps to do this, pressing the "extra rinse" button (4 times in 5 seconds) only causes a triple-beep, never goes into diagnostic mode. This is true of both old and new boards. Finally, I noticed that with the new board, only when the washer is off, there is a high pitch whistle coming from the board. This also was not the case with the previous board. Not sure if that is significant. HELP!
