When the washer is plugged in, the front control panel remains dark with no lights. There is a continuous click at the main control board. I am wondering if this continuous click is normal or is it an indication of the ccu malfunctioning or is the front panel at fault? Your thoughts. Thank you

I have installed the new CCU and it turns on and lights up fine, but does not go into a washer cycle. Is there something I need to do to reset the CCU prior to use? Thank you!

Latest Questions

My washer has been throwing the F11 code off and on for several months now. I ordered a replacement CCU (part number 8182697), popped it into the washer, and attempted to run a load. This time, no F11 code, but I did get an FH code. Referring to the guide, I re-checked water flow and valves, which were also not a problem when the previous board was in. Also of note, I do not seem to be able to put the washer into diagnostic mode. When I follow the steps to do this, pressing the "extra rinse" button (4 times in 5 seconds) only causes a triple-beep, never goes into diagnostic mode. This is true of both old and new boards. Finally, I noticed that with the new board, only when the washer is off, there is a high pitch whistle coming from the board. This also was not the case with the previous board. Not sure if that is significant. HELP!

We are getting a code F11 mainly at the end of a cycle. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. This has been happening for about 6 weeks now. On the last batch of laundry pushing the cancel button twice was not working. It would flash the remaining time and then go back to the code F11 and beep. We couldn't even get the wash cycle to cancel for about 20-25 minutes. I was afraid we wouldn't be able to get the laundry out of the washer, but after walking away from it for about 10 minutes and going back it finally canceled. Sometimes we could push cancel twice then hold the start button down and it would resume where it left off. We are worried if it got a power surge or something when my husband was testing out our generator. We called a local repair shop and they think we need to replace the motor, and gave us part number 8182697. We are trying to find it online for the best price available. Do you think this is our problem?

I have just purchased a new Control Board for my washer and have installed it just fine. (it was fairly easy). However, when I turn on the washer the control panel is completely wack. All of the control lights are fine but the buttons are not working the way they should. For example I now press the "Cycle Complete Signal" button and the power comes on. The display continuously counts from 0-14h no matter what I do. What is happening?? -Ulrich
