The refrigerator door handle is very loose but won't slide up for removal. What can I do?

Answer Hi. You'll need to remove the handle first " Apply firm pressure on the handle to slide it up and off of the shoulder screws, then tighten the screw holding the mounting clip to the door panel. Use blue loctite on the door clip mount screws to hold them tight to the door. Then replace the door handles. Thank You.

My refrigerator door top handle is not attached to the clip. I can see the two small screws are still tightened to the refrigator door. There was a loose screw with the tip pointing at the door handle and is loosely siting in the middle hole of the clip. I couldn't figure out how to securely place the handle back onto the top clip. Not sure what to do with the big screw. Should it be slide up or down the clip? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Answer Hi JT. Remove the clip from the door. Then use Loctite part # F8283401 to adhere the small screws and clip back to the handle first. Then make sure the large screw is loctited onto the door. Then slip the handle back onto the large4 screw heads that hold behind the inner clips. Thank You.

How do I tighten up a loose handle of the right door?
