The EL display fades and goes out. Vibrations will cause it to relight indicating intermittent connection between display supply voltage and display. Will replacing this unit (7601P155-60 Whirlpool Item AP4102723)solve the problem or is the power supply on another board?

For several years my oven hasnot worked right. My control panel seems to be bad but before I spend 300.00 bucks I need to know if it is the whole control board. I push the bake button and it seems to respond correctly but then when I try to set the temp. I can not get the number read out to stop at the desired temp. It either goes 5 to 10 deg. above or below the desired temp. setting. Then when the burner does lit it will go out or it will take way to long to get up to temp. Then it will release gas when there is no glow in the ignighter. The gas fills the kitchen. WOW!!! What to look for please.

My clock/oven temperature button twisted off the black, plastic shaft that is visible on the switch on the right hand side of this picture. The replacement clock buttons that I have found on your sight appear to slide onto an existing D shape shaft. Since mine has this plastic shaft which broke part way down, how can I replace? Thanks.
