I have a gas range. The breaker tripped which powers the electric components of the range. A while later we smelled something hot and saw smoke. The oven had heated to a very high temperature. It was not in the clean cycle as the door did not lock. The control panel works on some functions but not others. Anytime I plug the unit in it begins on its own to heat continuously without stopping. Is this a faulty control panel causing this or something else?

the numbers on the contol panel all light ,all timers ,clock all work. When you press bake or broil the temp comes on but oven/broiler does not light. This started after a lightning storm. What could this be?

Experienced partial power loss to house (suspect transformer failure resulted in the loss of 1 incoming leg). Some lights were on and some were not. When full power was restored the range display was dark and has remained that way. Attempted Sabbath mode reset-held clock for 5 sec. several times/no change. I need to know if there is any other possible point of failure that I can check before replacing the clock/overlay? Thanks.
