That function does a timer clutch and the timer, reference to water level ?
Answer Hi Roberto. The timer clutch part # 385571 only resets the timer when the coin slide is pushed in and out. It has nothing at all to do with the water level. You need to start the washer on a small load and fill in both cold and hot (one at a time) and as it is filling simply unplug the washer cord. This disables the voltage to the water valve. If the water still runs then you need to replace the valve part # 3979346. If you have a low and high water level switch on the control panel then test it with a ohm meter to see if it properly switches to high(H) and low(L) . IF not then replace it w/part # W10330140. If so then you will have 2- separate water level pressure switches. Remove the hose from the pressure switch (one at a time) and blow back into the tub. Did you feel a restriction removed then? If so then you need to use washer magic monthly to insure the build up is broken down and drained. Make sure the dryer vent hose is not restricted as then you are redepositing lint back into the washer unknowingly and creating this restriction in the hose and misleading the pressure switch with an erroneous fill level. Use a same size hose and start the washer on a small fill. Keep the original press. sw. hose above the tub level. Put the test hose onto the pressure sw. Blow into it, if the washer stars to agitate then the pressure switch is good on the low switch. Test the same with the high sw. The low press. switch is part # W10351806 ,this is the left side press sw. part #. The high press. switch is part # W10339319. This is the rt. side sw. part # . Make sure to correspond the switches in the correct area's. Did you also check the air dome hose(tube) and "T" fitting for clogs, kinks and debris ? and is the washer draining, completely, between the wash and rinse cycle ? If that's all OK, then replace the water temperature control board 8578168. When the "add softner" is selected, the tub should fill to the highest setting, When left deselected, the water level will only fill approximately 1/2 full. Thank You.
