Washer does not move through cycle but can be manually moved overwise it continues whatever cycle it is on, ie. washes load but never stops.
Answer Chuck, Apparently you have a MTG "Neptune" stacked laundry system ? Power to the timer motor is supplied from the "machineControl" board, located in the right front corner of the dryer cabinet. The voltage is intermittent, and is controlled through inputs from the sensors and switches,in the washer. We'll send you some information, and you may want to get your hands on a multimeter to test the circuits TJMA-DM1 it'll be less expensive in the long run.
unit is not spinning in spin cycle. water drains and unit rotates as in wash cycle. this problem is intermittent.
Answer Scott, Based on the post, the washer thinks there's an "Off Balnced" load. You want to check the off balance switches and wiring, before you replace the control board. This is a low voltage circuit, and a loose connection can distrupt the circuit. There are three switches, one on top(inertia switch), one on the right side and one on the bottom of the tub, make sure they all have closed circuits, and no loose connection and the plungers move freely. There are two multi plug "molex" connectors one on each side of the tub, under the washer top panel, check and make sure there are no loose connections there as well. Thanks
