How do I run a diagnostics test on the user display and control board part number 2320696?
Answer Hello Aspen,
As per the tech sheet, if there is an issue there will be a fault code that will show up on the display. If there is no display, you will need to check for 12Vdc on terminal P2-2 to terminal P2-1 and/or P2-3 on the display 2320696. If this is present, the display board has failed. If not, the power supply on the main board W10219463 has failed. If the main board has failed, since it is no longer available, Corecentricsolutions.Com will need to be contacted to see if they rebuild this particular control board.
My refrigerator evaporator fan runs constantly. I was going to order the thermister, defroster and fan Is that a good start?
Answer Hello David. Make sure the condenser coils are good and clean and the condenser fan motor is running. Also, make sure that the unit is at the proper temperature. Either one of these conditions can cause the unit to run to long.
Last night this refrigerator stopped working. The main control panel stopped lighting. Upon cycling the main switch a few times the control panel lit but all readings were incorrect. Now the panel does not light and the compressor does not start. I have read a few of your things and think the control panel may not have anything to do with the compressor not running? Help!
Answer Wayne, Correct, the interior control board has little to nothing to do with the compressor running. And based on the other symptoms you described, your first choice and check will be the main control board W10219463 (W10219463). The part is no longer available from the manufacturer " Customer Should Contact Corecentric Solutions, Inc. Attn: Rfr Dept 175 Wall St Glendale Heights, Il 60139-1956 Phone:866-737-2244 For Repair Options" The control board is located on the top compartment of the machine, behind the upper trim panel / grille.
