Wife goes down to use Kenmore Elite He5 Electric dryer and it is dead. No indicator lights and no beeps. Open the door and the light inside comes on. Will not enter into diagnostics mode. I am getting both legs of AC power to the terminal board as well as Neutral. Nothing looks burned or disconnected. I was not able to access the console electronics user board being I am not 100% sure how to free it from the console plastic housing. I felt like I would break it. I went over and decided to test the power cube to make sure it is getting input and then the 5 vdc output. It is getting correct input but nothing on the output at P2-1. I feel it must be the UI power cube. Would anything else cause this that I am over looking?

Hi, Getting code F01. Says it is the circuit board. Is it the small one or the big one? Tried to start it and the large board clicks and after awhile I get an F01 code. Thanks for the help. Jim

Your part# AP4044675 electronic control board seems to have a plastic housing around it. Is this correct? Do you have a video on how to replace it.?

The main start switch will not turn on the dryer. All that I hear is a click. Do I replace the main control board or do I replace the console control board?

I have a fault code F-25. I replaced the inlet and outlet thermistors (they came in a kit) as per the troubleshooting procedures that came with the dryer. When I bought the new thermistors, I checked the continuity with a multi-meter on both the new ones and old. They were nearly identical, so probably didn't need to be changed. The guide says that if the inlet thermistor is ok, to change the "Machine Control Electronics", but the diagram has 2 of them, a PCB and a smaller unit. How do I tell which to replace?

Had an error code F-1 and replaced the thermistor as recommended from my last question. Also, replaced thermal fuse. Dryer was unplugged for a few days and started up after replacing these parts. Tried to start again and would not start. Showing the same F-1 code. Would you recommend replacing the circuit board? If so, which one: the user interface or the machine control electronics board? Thank you.
