The oven does not work at all?
Answer Hello Rudy. If the top works, but the oven does not, you may need to replace the control board in the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
This is direct replacement part for my model, the connections on the item differs from that on my model, please inform me of the installation instruction, so I can know how to install ity correctly.
Answer Clement, This should be a "straight acroos trade" the replacement clock should have 1/4 in. termianls labelled L1, BK,BR, and N, and a six pin multi plug connector on the right side of the back of the board, for the four wire connector to attach to. " This is a manufacturer substitution. Part may differ in appearance but is a functional equivalent to prior parts including 74007649".
If you label the wires as you remove them from the original, you'll be able to attach them to the proper terminal on the repalcement clock.
