My stove got the F1 code after we start using the oven, I checked the control unit and it's broken the circuit board. I just wanna be sure that it's just the control unit and it's not something else after I spend $220 on a new one....
Answer Jose', The F1 error code does indicate a problem with the control (relay energized during the time of day mode). If the printed circuit board is cracked or broken as you stated, you'll need to replace it, either way. But chances are good, you won't need anything else.
why is the control panel lights keep flashing. the stove and oven work but all the lights flashes
Answer John, Your first check needs to be to the power supply (breakers and outlet). The check and make sure the connections on the back of the range at the terminal block ( where the power cord attaches) are not loose or damaged. "The display will flash when electrical power
is first supplied to the range or if there has been a power failure." If all's OK, you'll need to replace the ERC/Clock 5701M680-60.
My key pad was looked so I reset but now when I press bake/broil the display is off.
If the display is not coming on the unit then you would need a new control board for the range.
