Oven control panel? Set temp on oven would maintain, IF the timer was used. Started using alternate manual timer, when baking at 350 or 375 degrees, continued baking like this for a few months. A few days ago had the oven set at 400, the control panel beeped when the set temp was reached, but then the oven started cooling off - after checking the pies after the instructed 30 minutes, the dough was still raw and not even starting to brown. The reading on the control panel continued to show 400. Cancelled the setting and re-set at 350 and all worked fine. Can't really decide if the problem is the control panel or the temp. sensor?

Stove makes ticking noise during and after the stove is shut off. We have to throw the breaker to get it to stop also the temp can go higher than the setting.

Our control panel is out. We've been told it only comes in black. Ours is white. Is this true? Thanks.

Latest Questions

The control panel on our Maytag range seems to be failing. Intermittently, the clock and all of the read-outs on the panel go black and the buttons become non-responsive, and the oven stops heating. Then a few minutes later the panel might become operative again. Lately it seems to be happening with greater frequency. If possible I'd like to confirm that the control panel is actually the problem before I order a new one. Can you please tell me how I can confirm that the problem is in the control panel and that the problem will be fixed by replacing the control panel? Thank you

Sometimes my oven will take 30 mins. or more to reach desired temperature, would this be the control panel or the temp heat sensor in the oven. A couple of times the oven temp says 350 but it doesn't feel like it inside the oven. Thanks

Had a sudden failure of ignition for both burners and oven of MGS5770 ADW Maytag unit. Can still light the burners with a flame, no problem. Oven light and clock still work fine. Is the problem likely to be part AP4420113 the Electrical Controller unit?
