I have trouble with the temp the stove sayes it is 350 and it is only around 250 I changed out the temp. sensor and it did not chang could it be the electronic board. That would be the only two thing ? I took the temp. sensor out to room temp. and turned on stove and it will keep heating up. and the stove read about 135 so I know that is wrong.

The bake element is stuck on and can only be turned off by killing the breaker. I get an error code F2 which I believe is simply indicating the over is too hot (100 degrees over limit). A lot of people seem to be saying the Y0308480 timer/electronic control is at fault but it really seems to functioning OK (all other functions seem normal.) There is also a relay board in the rear of the chassis and this problem seems more like a welded relay. 1.) Are there any relays for the bake element on the Y0308480 board? 2.) Would you suspect the controller board or a stuck relay? Thanks!

I have a Maytag electric range, and the oven and broiler will not turn on. I replaced the oven element thinking that would be the simplest fix however, still neither function will work. I thought I would change the relay board but the photo of the part does not match what I have in my range. It is a Maytag Model # BCRE955, Serial# 104233FB. Also is there a way to replace only the relay board, or do I have to replace the entire clock assembly as well? Thanks.

I have a Magic Chef slide in electric range. The model number on the strove is 68FN4CXW. The range was purchased in 1988 and this model # does not show up when I have tried to locate parts for the stove. What I need is the bake element for the oven. Do have a part that would likely work? Also the old part has a ground wire that connects to the element. Is the ground wire important?

I experienced recently problem with the bake portion of my oven. Broil is ok. When I push the bake button and set the requested temperature it will work for a while (15-30 sec). The temperature will start like usual at 100°'s and climb a little bit and suddenly everything stops. Which part should be replaced? Oven bake element, oven temperature sensor or the control (elect. part AP4102784)? Thanks
