We`ve had a repair person out 3 times to repair our gas range. At first the oven would ignite then run until it reached temp and would shut off, then not reignite to maintain temp. Then it would take 10 - 15 minutes to get it restarted and it would usually stay lit. Now the oven just does not ignite. I was not home at the time of the last repair but the tech said if this didn`t solve the problem we`d have to change out something else, and that would probably cost around $500 th $600 to fix. I`d rather buy a new range as it`s already cost me $500 for the first 2 trips. Well I`m not ready to throw in the towel yet, it just doesn`t seem like its something major... at least maybe not too difficult for me to repair on my own. Anything ring a bell, or should I just take a trip to home depot?
