Answer Hello Randy. A Door Lock Error occurs if the door cannot be locked. It will try to lock it six times before displaying the error code. Door lock mechanism is broken or removed from door. ¦ Door switch/lock unit failure. 1. Unplug washer or disconnect power. 2. Check door switch/lock unit. 3. Check the wire harness connections to the door switch/lock unit and Central Control Unit (CCU).

Answer EM, Your error codes indicate the motor control unit 8182706 and the central control unit 8182697 aren't communicating. You'll need to check the wire harness between the two components for loose conections or damage. then check the harness from the MCU to the motor. Also when you remove the lower access panel you should find your tech data sheet/wiring diagram and you can run the various tests in the information sheet. Good Luck and Thanks

Answer Hi Lewis. Are there any fault codes? If Not then you will need to access the tech. sheet and try to put in a field service test. It is either in a packet behind the lower panel or under the top cover. This way instead of guessing (without any codes), then it will focus on the area of fault by just pushing buttons correctly to get into the service mode.
