I have no digital display on my washer.I have electricity coming out of my line filter (which was recommended in a previous question). Upon further investigation, I found one of the small wires on the gray wiring harness coming from the user control and display board to the main control board. After connecting the wires, I now have a light on the control locked indicator with no other lights on. When I push the control on button and the pause control button, I get a flashing light on the delicate control, 30 minute estimated time remaining, and lights on cold/cold, low spin speed, and softer end of spin cycle. Could my problem be in the wiring harness, the main control board, user control board, or some other problem. I can not find the wiring harness on your parts page. Thanks
Answer Hello Scott,
Based on the information provided you would need to have the wiring harness. If once you plugged the wire back in and the unit is operational then the harness 8182716 would be the problem.
Our washer does not go into highspeed spin. What are possible causes?
Answer Hello B. You will need to check the filter located in the pump assembly 280187 and make sure it is not clogged. If so, it will prevent a high speed spin. If it is good, you may have a bad motor control board 8182706 or a bad motor in the unit. The motor should ohm out around 6.5 ohms across the terminals. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
