Hi. My refrigerator suddenly won't stop running. Cools reallyl well but freezer to negative 13 and refrigerator to 20's...measured with a Fluke meter. I've taken all apart; tested the thermocouples (both refrigerator and freezer). Both show continuity and respond to changes in temperature so I'm guessing is control board... ? Is there anything else I can check? Sticking relay perhaps? Thanks for your help!

Answer Hello Mark. You need to check and see if the thermistor 2188819 is bad in the unit. If so, it will cause the issues you are having with the unit. It should read around 10K ohms at room temperature. If it is good, you will need to replace the control board in the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. The freezer side seems to go into defrost mode and does not come out of until I un plug init and plug back in. Any ideas of the problem ? Thanks

Answer Hello Geoff. If the unit is sticking in the defrost cycle, you need to order and replace the electronic control 8201658 on the unit.

Answer Hello Jimd3nj. You will need to test and see if there is power coming to the condenser fan motor. If not, you will need to replace the electronic control 8201658. If there is power you will need to replace the condenser fan motor W10124096. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Answer Jesse, I think we know what we're working with, but a proper model number would be a graet help, it'll get us to where we need to be quicker. Is your freezer compartmrnt maintaining the temperature ? Look at the back wall of the freezer, is it coated with frost or ice ? Thanks
