can punch in time on microwave but it says door when hit start. /all 3 door switches omh out, but sreen time will not stay on and asks start? Lower oven will heat. I t seems to point to electronic board p/n 8302320. Can these be repaired or traded in on repaired item?
Answer Vetteman, The easiest diagnosis, is a voltage check at the control board. Connector P27pin#4(black wire) should have 120 VAC, regardless of door position,No voltage would indicate an open cavity fuse, in line fuse, faulty door switch or broken wire. At connector P26pin#1(black wire0 Should have 120 VAC, with the microwave door closed, no voltage indicates a faulty "primary" door switch, or brokrn wire. Connector P27 pin#1(black wire) should have 120 VAC, when the door is open. If all the voltages check correctly, then you'll need the control board
If I buy the part is it easy to change myself? Will any instructions come with it as to how to take the clock part apart?
Answer Hello Masoud! The electronic control 8302320 does not come with any instructions. You will need to remove the two screws holding the control panel in place to access the control board. Remove any wiring that is on the board. Keep track of which wire goes where so you do not wire the new board wrong. Keep in mind to remove all power to the appliance before attempting any repairs. Thanks!
