When I put clothing in my dryer (propane), it will bypass the sensing and go straight to wet, not heating up at all. If I take the clothing out of the dryer and turn it on, it heats up right away. Not sure if there is something wrong with my sensor or if it is my control board or what exactly it is.The dryer was purchased in February of 07 but has worked fine until now.

The push to start button is broken. I ordered and received a new user interface control board, which came with no instructions and there is no video available, evidently. I printed out an earlier answer (which is not posted on this part number today), but now that I have the console off and the part in front of me, the instructions make little sense. It says "using a flat-blade screwdriver, gently apply pressure to the locking tabs to release the user interface assembly." It seems that the front of the console has to come off because the gray insert panel must come off from the front. What am I not understanding?

My dryer is flashing code F1. Reading the owners manual leads me to believe it is the control panel. I checked all the connections and tried with the same results. Is it as easy as it appears to replace the control panel? Just making sure all the wiring harness gets put back correctly.
