Answer Hello Mike. Here is how to do a diagnostic test. Hope this helps.
Starting Service History Mode & Diagnostic Test:
NOTE: The washer must be empty and the control must be
in the OFF state before pressing the touch-pad sequence to
start the test.
1. Close the door.
2. Select any one key (except PAUSE/CANCEL) and follow
the steps below, using the same key (remember the key):

release.
3. Upon release, all console LED lights will turn on for
5 seconds.
4. If there are any failure codes, they will be displayed in the
Estimated Time Remaining display.
NOTE: This program recalls the most recent failure code
first.
Press the same key to advance to the next failure code.
(If the console doesn’t change then, the same failure
code was stored multiple times.)
If there aren’t any more failure codes all the lights on the
console will turn on for 5 seconds.
Next the washer begins the Diagnostic Test.
To cancel out of service mode press PAUSE/CANCEL.
(This exits you out of the program.)
NOTE: After the diagnostic test has finished, unplug washer
or disconnect power cord and wait for 15 seconds. After that,
plug in washer or reconnect power cord.
Once you know what the most recent failure code is during the
Diagnostic Test, you must follow some steps according to the
FAILURE/ERROR DISPLAY CODES, See page 11.
I get f01 error replaced CCU and front panel control still getting the f01 code and it never starts the cycle. Could you help me fix the problem.
Mr. White for Model Number wfw8410sw01
Answer Hello Mr. White. Here is the information from the manufacture for the F01 code. Hope this helps.
Pump Driver/ Main Relays/ EEPROM Error The pump driver fails to activate/ One of the main relays is not working properly/
A communication error between the Central Control Unit (CCU) and the EEPROM
onboard the CCU occurred.
- Check for loose power outlet. A loose power plug in the wall can create
line noise and issues.
- Check if washer is on a dedicated circuit. Other devices on same circuit
can create line noise and cause this issue.
- Unplug washer or disconnect power
- Check all wire harness connections from the CCU are not broken or wires
detached and connector internal pins are visible.
- Check all green wires (ground harnesses system) are not broken or wires detached.
- Check the two ground switches are pressed correctly by the toe and rear panels.
- Make sure that all the connectors are fully seated.
- Plug washer or reconnect power.
- Check for power going to Central Control Unit (CCU) by listening for a click in the
CCU when unit is plugged in washer or reconnect power.
- Verify unit operation by running the Diagnostic Test. See page 5.
- After the diagnostic test has finished, unplug washer or disconnect power cord
and wait for 15 seconds.

Answer Hello. Here are some test the manufacture recommends. Hope this helps.
Machine will not start.
1. Open and close the door. The door has to be opened between consecutive wash cycles.
2. Check the door switch/lock unit running Drain cycle.
3. If door is locked, drain the unit. Remove lower cover and drain by opening the Pump filter. Release the door lock assembly.
4. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
5. Check the resistance of the motor pump.
6. Check the drain pump filter for foreign objects.
7. Check all wire harness connections to the CCU are not broken or wires detached and connector’s internal pins are visible.
8. Check all the green wires (ground harnesses system) are not broken or wires detached.
9. Check the two ground switches are pressed correctly by the toe and rear panels.
10. Plug in washer or reconnect power.
11. Check the button/LED assembly by selecting different cycles and changing the modifiers and options available to confirm the
button/LED assembly is responding.
