My Maytag won't to anything when I pull out the knob for operation, it does not fill with water as it should it just stays still, but if I advance it manually to the rinse or wash cycle, it agitates but no water. The same occurs if I advance to spin cycle. It spins until cycles end but still no water. What could be the problem? The inlet valve tests good. I installed a new timer but still the same problem.

After starting wash cycle, washer fills up with water and starts to agitate. It continues to agitate until the control is manually moved to another part of the cycle. First time it occurred, the washer agitated for over 3 hours. Once the washer is manually moved to a different part of the cycle, it operates normally, continuing thru rinse and spin cycle, and even a second rinse and spin if that is selected. I suspect it is the Agitation Delay Board, but would prefer an experts opinion before possibly buying the wrong part. Thanks.

When I start the wash cycle as soon as the water starts it starts to agitate, it does this no matter which cycle you put it on, it also goes into second rinse even with it turned off. is this the agitator delay control board? please help me figure this out. thank you. Ronald

My maytag centennial won't do anything when put into wash mode, it will however do the spin cycle. I've tried manually filling with water and it won't agitate. I've checked the water connection hoses, inlet screens, continuity of the inlet capacitors, and they all check out just fine. So then i tried to run the wash cycle again and it started to run a spin cycle in the wash cycle. Do you think this might be the timer or the agitator delay circuit board and how can I test that?

My Maytag washer fills with water then stops, it will not agitate! I move the dial to spin and it spins and drains fine. Motor doesn't hum or make any noise. I checked for power at the motor when it was suppose to be in agitate mode but had no power, would that mean I have a bad timer or main control board? Also the last load when it worked fine got out of balance, if that would make a difference, Thanks Rob

I'm working on a kenmore washer #110.29822801. It fills with water, agitates for about 10 seconds then spins out. Then it fills again, spins and drains. I'm thinking it's the control board because it advances fine but doesn't perform each opperation the proper amount of time. What do you think?
