The agitator starts agitating during the fill up.There are several types of cycles like normal, casual, delicate, heavy duty and etc.. No matter which cycle you start in the agitator always starts during fill up. I don't notice anything else wrong. Everything seems to be fine. The cycles start and complete like they are suppose to and the water level seems to be fine also. Could this be a bad electric control for the agitation delay or a timer or something?? Thanks
Answer Tom, The more likely issue in your washer is the temperature switch W10248240 and air tube [AP3098609}. Check the air tube for kinks , twists, etc. Disconnect the hose from the switch and blow in the end of the hose, to clear any debris or sediment in the system, then replace the water level switch if all's OK. The timer delay control, could be the issue as well, but it's not as common as the water level switch
My machine was on pause, then all indicator lights went off, and the machine pumps out the water continuously. Unplug unit and the lights flash on for a second and the pump turns on.
You will want to access the tech sheet on your unit and run a diagnostics to see if there are any stored error codes. It sounds like there may be an issue where the unit is sensing a flooding issue.
The cold water was not filling, so we replaced the valve and flowmeter. Now the warm/hot water will not fill. What could be causing this to occur?
Answer Hello Cheri. You need to check and make sure all the connections for the wires are good, and the hot water is turned on. If all is good, you may have a bad wiring harness on the unit. It can also be a bad temperature switch on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
