Answer Hello Jim. Based on the information you provided, the motor needs to be replaced. It is bad. The switch on the motor is causing the issue.

Answer Hello Tammy, You may want to check the wiring from the switch to the motor. There may be a broken wire. If there is no broken wire then you would need to replace the motor 279787.
