After a power outage the oven does not turn on. Absolutely nothing. I'm suspecting the control board. Are there any other parts that might be at fault?
Answer Hello David,
You may want to check the High limit thermostat to make sure that it is not blown. Also check L1 to neutral on the control board to make sure that you are getting power to the control. If there is 120 vac between L1 to neutral then replace control board. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
