Answer Dan, Did you check the electrical connections in the junction box on the dishwasher lower frame ? With a new door latch/switches W10275768 we can presume, evrything there is OK. You'll need to conduct voltage checks at the control board, with the door switches "bypassed", to determine if there's voltage to the control board W10218834 This style unit has no fuses, or thermal fuses in the circuit, so the control should reacrt to any input, unless you have a bad keypad / control panel 6-919833 or no voltage to the control board.

My start button was not working. When I pressed the button a faint light appeared, but it wouldn't fire up. I could cycle through the light med and heavy cycle but it would light was not working for the med. I figured it was the control panel so I ordered a new one and installed it. Now different buttons are not functioning. Do in need a new cntrl elec?

Answer Hello Clayton. Make sure the ribbon cable for the control panel is seated properly in the unit. If not, it will cause the issue with the buttons. If the cable is installed properly, then it seems the electronic control W10218834 may need to be replaced also in the unit.

Maytag dishwasher, I can press the delay2-4-6 and lights will come on. But if I press the start button, will not start. But I can see very tiny little lights show when pressing the start button.They are like little micro dots lights. Sometimes I can take apart and check connections and will work, but I think my luck has ran out.

I have the MDBH dishwasher. It's 1 1/2 years old and some lights stopped working when the buttons are pressed. Lately I must press the start button multiple times to get the washer to start. As of last week no matter how many times i push start lights will only show very dim and washer will not start when button is pressed. Does this appear to be the control board? When it worked intermittently I would have to push start 5 or 6 times and some lights worked while others did not.
