HI, I am getting the dreaded SUD/F35 code. I have replaced the APS (2nd time, 2 yrs ago), I have checked the air tube, I have checked the trap, Cleaned all hoses, Done a diagnostics check (Skips CO1), I have checked the steamer (YES), and I have disconnected and reconnected every electrical connector. The next logical thing is a Cntrl-Elec Part #W10248067/AP4411879. Which i just ordered, (Back Ordered). Can you offer any other items to check, while I am waiting for the part? Thanks.
Based on the information of things already checked, it sounds like you have pretty much covered all the bases and either the pressure switch is faulty again or the control board would be the issue.
REPLACED PRESSURE SWITCH, REPLACED USER INTERFACE...STILL GET SUDS AND F35? Cleaned every hose and also the trap at the bottom? Now what? Repair manual says it was the user interface? Is it the control unit now?
Answer Ski, First check should be the pressure switch W10304342 and air tube W10525781 . F35 - ANALOG PRESSURE SENSOR FAILURE. SUD - SUDS LOCK (OVERDOSE OF DETERGENT DETECTED DURING THE WASH CYCLE). Check and make sure the air tube is not clogged with sediment or debris (blow in the end of the hose), twisted or kinked. Then check the air trap assembly W10260500.
washer beeps when i push power. that is all tho no codes nothing lights up on panel. only thing that will work is the child lock deal if i hold it for 3 seconds. if im thinking right wouldnt it be the ccu?
Answer Chris, Don't start with the CCU, it's a good guess. You want to start by checking the door switch assembly and wiring. The CCU has to see the door open between cycles, here's some help : " Won’t start cycle, Open and close the door. Door has to be opened after 3
consecutive cycles. Check the door switch/lock unit using the diagnostics. If door is locked, drain the unit. Remove lower cover and
drain by opening the Pump filter. Release the door as described in the section of door lock failure. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
Check the wire harness connections. Plug in washer or reconnect power. Check the touch-pad/LED assembly by selecting different
cycles and changing the modifiers and options available to confi rm the touch-pad/LED is responding. Start cycle." When you remove the lower access panel on the front, you should find the wiring diagram/tech datat sheet in a large envelope taped to the side wall or inner side of the access panel. Thanks and Good Luck
