Thanks for answering to my previous question, to continue from where I left the question, I ordered a motor-pump part # AP4538422. And replaced it, and it did not make any difference. The dishwasher starts and fills in with water, the water heats up, but the motor doesn't start, meaning the washing cycle doesn't start. You advised to check if the power is coming to the motor, how do you perform that check? Need some guidance on this. Also is there a timer on the unit? And if so where can I find the component and how to test if it is functioning properly? Any help with this or any other suggestions would be highly appreciated I

The dishwasher starts and the water fills in and heats up, you hear the snap that signals the start of washing cycle, but it doesn't start. You don't see the impeller arm moving or spraying water. I did replace the start capacitor for motor-pump, but then it worked for couple of cycles and then the dishwasher showed the same symptoms again. I called up and get another capacitor and installed it but the dishwasher doesn't start the washing cycle meaning the impeller arm doesn't start moving. I am thinking that the motor-pump may be bad and needs replacement. Any suggestion please? Sincerely, Bhupen

My whirlpool dishwasher will not complete the cycle. The light blinks and the water has not drained. Cancel drain will pump water out of washer. Will not go through cycle.

My Whirlpool dishwasher appears to be repeating the wash cycle over and over. It runs until I cancel the cycle. What could be the problem? Thanks.
