Thank you for the quick answer to my last question. Would you say I need the same part for the other half of my question which was, all the push buttons performed ok, except the one's for shutting off the upper and lower ovens. First the upper stopped shutting off and then the bottom one started doing the same thing. I could set the temp, broil etc. The oven worked fine but I had to shut off at breaker box. When it went back on the unit was off and ready to work again if I pushed the on button.

I have a double wall unit that I bought in 2004. For the last six months I have not been able to turn the two ovens off. That control doesn't work so I have to go to the main circuit panel box and shut it off that way. All other controls worked. Today the display now shows F5 & E1 for the lower over and F2 & E1 for the upper oven. Now none of the push buttons work at all. The electric control board is not available anymore and the only way for repair is to have it removed, sent out to have it repaired. Please help. I'm desperate.

Hello, I have a double oven, model RBD306PDZ8. A little over a week ago, it gave an error code of E6 F2. Since then, it has been in the error state, or it has had a blank display. Pressing buttons causes a beep in either state. Pressing a button when the display is working shows the normal output based on the button pressed. The exception is the Start/Enter button; pressing it returns the display to the E6 F2 error. The erratic behavior is making it difficult to determine which part I need. Your assistance is appreciated. Thanks.

Latest Questions

Greetings, After a power failure, wall oven model GBD307PDSO9 stopped working and the touch pad would not illuminate. You suggested checking the transformer, which I did. Sure enough, it was bad. I changed it out and the oven worked but for only a few minutes, then went dead again. Your suggestion was to change the Electronic control, which I did. I now have illumination at the control board, however PF shows for a minute or two, then I get an F2/E2 error and the pad is unresponsive. I believe it is trying to tell me that there is a communication error. My question is: Since I replaced the electronic control, do I need to synchronize it with the old touchpad with a code or do I need to replace the old touch pad? I have tried several time to re-insert the communication ribbon but it just won't communicate. Thanks!!!!!! Randy

We had quite a few power outages a few weeks back and the display on my oven went blank. I checked out your site to see what might be the problem. I concluded by reading all the posts that it was the control board. I replaced the board and it lit up fine but now am getting a lock error code. I know for a fact that the oven locked then unlocked while going through a start up diagnostic...but shortly after it unlocked it threw a F5 F2 code(I believe that's it) and then a keypad error. What would cause both of these errors? The technician was baffled as well. The only thing he thought was that the control panel was bad as well...? Any ideas?
