hi, my dryer started acting up, so i watched it ,which i found that the igniter would glow and the gas would fire but shut off after a few seconds, it would repeat that several times and then it would glow with no ignition. i ordered coils and replaced them and the dryer would glow but not ignite at all, i got a new set of coils thinking it was a defective new coil but the same happens. i put the old coils back in and it glows and ignites a few times then no gas ignition same as the problem was.i dont know why the new coils did not work. the new booster coil and holding coil also get hot after a couple of cycles of the glowing with no ignition.confused,john.

When I replaced the coils on the gas valve, gas leaks out the double coil valve. Is this normal? Valve still does not work.

When I turn it on, the heating element lights up, then the flame ignites. It stays lit for 30 seconds or so, then goes out (flame and element). Then about 2 min later or so, the heating element lights up again, but the flame does not ignite and the dryer does not get warm. This step repeats as long as I keep it on. Do I need to replace the coils? All three? Thanks in advance!
