How come my washer leaks water in the pedestal when the machine is not running? I have to turn off the water when washing is through.

Answer Hello Thelma. It sounds like the water valve may be leaking on your machine. You will need to remove the top cover, by removing the two screws on the back of it, and sliding it off toward the back of the machine. You will need to see if it is the hot water valve 34001131 or the cold water valve 34001248. Hope this helps.

I found another quarter in the drain pump again and removed it. My problem is now it doesn't want to spin but you can hear it draining. It stopped at the spin cycle and said nd error code. Any answers to this problem? Any quick fix? Thanks for the answer to my first question.

Answer Hello Mike. You will need to check and see if the pump is working properly. Also remove the hose to the pressure switch and blow though it to make sure it is not clogged. Hope this helps.

My drain pump is running fine. Can I just order the impeller since somehow a quarter ended up in the pump. You would figure that a screen would be there to catch anything that made it that far. Anyway, the pump has an impeller that runs by a magnet like a pond pump. All I need is the plastic impeller. Can I get just that part?

Answer Hello Maria, You are correct. If you can hear the noise from the open pump 34001320, something has gotten into the pump and will damage the pumps' impeller, if it hasn't already.

The code nd is coming up on my display screen on my samsung washer and we found a nickel in the second hose. We unclogged it and I am not sure how to figure out if we need just the pump or the whole assembly? The water does not want to drain and it will not spin. How can I tell if the white piece is broken?

Answer Hello Crystal. If you test for power to the pump, and it does not run, you will need to order and replace the pump assembly on the unit.

I have read on line about many people complaining that thier pump blew out because objects got caught in the pump. It seems that it is like a defect because there is nothing to prevent this situation. Who would I contact about issues regarding this problem? Possibly getting out a recall/replace in order?
