11 yr old frig has always runs cold with both settings on warmest. Now unit runs almost continuously. Ran electronic control test per service sheet 2214447V. with all green except red indication on step 5 and step 7. (step 7) Bi-Metal tests open and will be replaced. (step 5) states " VC compressor OFF, waiting for min off delay" Please clarify what action to take correct problem in Step 5 after bi-metal is replaced? Many Thanks

I've a Kitchen Aid 48in that is failing. My tech tells me that the compressor which is dead and is spilling oil into the heat exchanger tube and clogging it. We've changed the new compressor, inverter and control electronic. There are also leak in the evaporator and the heater pan which will changed along with the heat exchanger. (Thank for helping me locate it). Before and after the new compressor is being soldered into the lines, we run the diagnostic mode from the display panel. For the compressor mode, it show number '2' which means that it doesn't run at the right speed. If such situation happens after we install the remaining parts in place (ie new evaporator, heater pan and heat exchanger) what else could be wrong and needed to be tested ? There are only 2 items not being changed yet: The condenser coil and the control panel electronic. Please help.. 2 months without a frig at home.
