Hi, i had my refrigerator stored for about 1.5 years. I turned it on tonight to use it and it stayed on for about 5 minutes and then it just shut off. The lights are on inside but nothing else. No fan no nothing. What could the problem be?

Answer Hello Milan. You need to leave the unit plugged in for about 1 hour and see if it comes back on. If so, it just cycled into the defrost cycle due to the timer being close to cycle time.

OK I bought your part yesterday and am trying to do this myself and than have a professional deal with filling the compressor after the plumbing is done. When removing the old, I have to have that same professional remove the coolent or can I just cut the lines?

I my goal was to remove and replace the compressor, cut and sweat the lines myself, and than have someone charge the unit for me. Will this fly, or will someone refuse to fill it if they know I did the work myself?
